Lyrics and Music by Ed Du Bois, December 28, 2005, Copyright 2006
I was thinking one morning that although my grand daughter Carolyn got my song writing started by saying, Papa I'm Only Dancin', I hadn't written a song really about her. So I played a few cords, thought about her beautiful face; her brilliant red hair, eyebrows and lips that look like they may have been painted by Salvador Dali, and this is what came to me. It might sound a little too religious, too sweet, too grand fatherly that's too bad, it is Carolyn to me! Here it is.
